Uniondale Pride Day (street Fair), Networking and marketing workshops, Uniondale-opoly where your business can be on the board...a good advertising strategy, Uniondale Merchant of the Year awards night and the "Chamber Holiday Party" will be here before you know it. We hope all can attend. Last year's party was a huge success and that is only a small sample of what is to come.
As we come to the close of another year it is time to elect the officers for the Executive Committee - If you would like to join the executive board, or if you'd like to keep your current office, please email the position you would like to fill to the nominating chair Augie Daurio at awardsandmore@verizon.net. "Levittown man gets Ray Kroc award

Wayne Galante of Levittown recently received the Ray Kroc Award, an annual performance-based award that recognizes the top 1 percent of McDonald’s restaurant managers throughout the United States.
Galante, who got his first job at McDonald’s at age 16, is the manager of the McDonald’s in Uniondale and is also president of the Uniondale Chamber of Commerce. He is credited with helping to curb violence in the community through a unique program that rewards local students with free food at McDonald’s for good behavior and random acts of kindness."
“Objective this chamber is organized for the purpose of advancing economic, industrial, professional, cultural and civic welfare of Uniondale to encourage the growth of existing industries and businesses, while giving all proper assistance to any new firms or individuals seeking to locate in Uniondale.”

Ideally we'd like to get all Uniondale businesses and organizations on board. This also includes the Mitchel Field establishments, who have asked about this. You're Uniondalers too, and we want you to be a part of it.
